If you are a professional in the entertainment industry in need of emergency assistance due to Hurricane Katrina, please call The Actors’ Fund at 800.221.7303. Please identify where you are calling from and ask to have an intake worker paged. If you call and get the voicemail system, dial extension 119.
The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic is pleased to offer our services to entertainment professionals from New Orleans who have relocated to the New York area due to Hurricane Katrina. The Actors’ Fund’s Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic is now the New York satellite facility of the New Orleans Musicians Clinic (NOMC). Click here to download a PDF for more information.

The Tipitina's Foundation is coordinating relief to artists who are displaced and/or in need of help. Artists and donors may post listings so that the Foundation can match specific donations to artists in need. Artists and donors may also browse the lists themselves to try to make their own matches.

The foundation provides sustenance programs, musical development and also established the New Orleans Musicians Fund to help those displaced musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Due to an overwhelming number of requests we regret that we must close the door for now, and work to fill the needs of those currently in line for assistance. I'll keep watching to see if they reopen this door.
